Pre-K to 8th Grade Religious Education Coordinator

St. Thomas is seeking a Part-time Pre-K to 8th Grade Religious Education Coordinator. The Pre-K to 8th Grade Religious Education Coordinator takes primary responsibility for coordinating our pre-K through 8th grade Religious Education programs to ensure that they are theologically sound and integrated into the mission and vision of St. Thomas Parish and the Diocese of Lansing. This includes responsibility for recruiting and managing team leaders and volunteers who implement events and programs for children pre-K—8th grade that foster engagement with the Catholic faith and spiritual growth. Director of Faith Formation

St. Thomas is seeking a Director of Faith Formation (DFF). This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits; routinely requires evening/weekend duties. In consultation and cooperation with the Pastor, Ministry & Liturgy sub-teams, and the Pastoral Council, the DFF takes primary responsibility for planning, implementing and evaluating Catechetical/Discipleship initiatives for adults. The DFF will offer access to faith formation resources; will organize regular studies/groups to help adults grow in knowledge of their Catholic faith and of Scripture; will collaborate with leaders of RCIA, baptismal prep, wedding prep, etc. to offer programs that are theologically sound and rich and provides appropriate follow-up; and will work closely with the pastor and liturgy sub-team to plan religious celebrations and sacramental rites that are orthodox, vibrant, and beautiful. The DFF also oversees the pre-K through 8th grade Religious Education of our children. The DFF will evaluate and implement catechetical programs that are theologically sound and integrated into the mission and vision of St. Thomas Parish and the Diocese of Lansing. Additionally, the DFF will work very closely with the Director of Evangelization to help adults move from encounter experiences to a lifestyle of committed discipleship and active engagement with ministry and mission. Foundation Chaplain

This is a part time position, flexibly scheduled. The chaplain maintains a presence throughout the organization, personifying and reinforcing the Christian values that support and sustain The Foundation. The chaplain supports policies, procedures and practices that promote the mission of The Foundation.
