Bio / Information: 
Fr. Laboe studied history at the University of Notre Dame. He obtained his law degree from the Catholic University of America in 1990 and practiced law for four years in Michigan. He entered Sacred Heart Major Seminary in 1994 to study for the priesthood. He was ordained a priest in 1999. Fr. Laboe received his M.Div. degree from Sacred Heart Major Seminary and later received his S.T.L. and S.T.D degrees in moral theology from the University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. Fr. Laboe teaches in the areas of moral theology and parish administration. Fr. Laboe served as parochial vicar and administrator of three parishes in Pontiac (St. Vincent de Paul, St. Michael and Shrine of St. Joseph) and as pastor of St. Valentine in Redford. He offers monthly Mass in Portuguese for Brazilian Catholics living in the Archdiocese.
