We are all wounded, all sinners. Broken, we struggle to minister to others. Come and join us for our fifth inspiring In the Heart of the Church speaker series, as we explore with Sr. Miriam James Heidland, SOLT, and Patty Breen how our wounds can become a place where we and others encounter Christ’s healing power.

The keynote speaker is Sr. Miriam James Heidland, SOLT—a former Division I athlete who had a radical conversion and joined the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in 1998. Her story has been featured in the Seattle Times, the National Catholic Register, EWTN’s The Journey Home, the USCCB Convocation, Relevant Radio, and other outlets. She holds a Master’s degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute and speaks extensively on the topics of conversion, authentic love, forgiveness, and healing. Sr. Miriam’s podcast, Abiding Together, can be found on iTunes and her book, Loved As I Am, can be found on Amazon. She tweets at @onegroovynun.

Patty Breen will join Sister Miriam for a Q&A session after the presentation. Patty is a MAPS graduate of Sacred Heart Major Seminary and serves as the Chairperson of the Alumni Association at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Patty has been working in parish ministry for eleven years. In her free time, Patty does freelance writing and speaking, loves running, strong cups of coffee, and writes for Blessed is She.

Program and lunch are free of charge. Don’t wait! Spaces are limited.
