September 14, 2013 - How to Write a Killer Resume and Cover Letter

Does your resume need a bit of a refresher? The seminar will cover the basics on how to write an effective resume for both church and secular positions as well as how to promote secular experience and skills toward a "church job."

 

Attendees will learn the differences between a chronological and functional resume, a curriculum vitae (CV), and when to use each format. The  seminar will also include advice on writing a good cover letter, the necessity of sending a thank-you note, and follow-up techniques.

 

Cost is $5.00 for current students and $15.00 for alumni and all others.
