New Transitional Deacons
Ordination
Seven seminarians studying at Sacred Heart Major Seminary were ordained as transitional deacons on Saturday, December 14, 2002. The new deacons for the Archdiocese of Detroit are John Bustamante, Paul Czarnota, Pawel Kaczmarczyk, Robert Liberty, Jr., James McNulty and Anthony Richter. Timothy Ferris was ordained for the Diocese of Toledo.
Ordination as a transitional deacon is a final step in the process of priestly ordination.
