Pastoral Resources

The Office of Pastoral Resources provides vicariates with socio-demographic data and assistance in survey design, implementation and data analysis. It also provides summary information of current social scientific studies pertinent to Catholicism as well as annual reports on the number and kind of paid parish professional ministers, basic demographics on the Archdiocese of Detroit, number of active and non-active priests, and basic demographic data of Catholic parishes by vicariate.

The office is involved in producing archdiocesan and vicariate maps as well as parish boundary and cluster maps.
